See what I did there? 😉ĭepth: Killian’s job alone is enough drama to stretch the entire book. So of course, the two of them together is a big freaking “boom”. The laundry between Gus and Killian? Sweet Jesus, I needed a cold shower after a couple of them. But honey, there is zero reason to be skeptical. So I wasn’t sure what to expect with Layla. Laundry: Each author writes their laundry scenes differently. His eyes darken when he’s turned on and hot damn, I want to be the one making them do that! Okay, I need to fan myself for a moment. Honestly, her sense of humor is #goals for me.

I’ve never read any other book with the two main characters being introduced this way. Interaction: The way Gus and Killian meet is definitely original. Gus says she wants to climb him several times in this book and sweetheart, me too. The way these two come together is magic. (And I loved every second of this detail.) Well nan isn’t doing too hot, so the love story blooms in Nashville and it’s utterly amazing. Gus’s grandma lives next door to James and Susan Mayson. These two end up shacking up and taking their relationship on the road to Nashville. How Gus resisted him even for a hot second, is beyond me. And oh boy, does Layla Frost paint quite the picture of this handsome man. At that same moment, she meets the giant sexy beast known as Killian Nox. Well, he makes that decision for her when she discovers he’s a cheating douchebag.

She starts the story by trying to convince herself moving in with her boyfriend is a good idea. Story Line: Gus has some super bad luck in the guy department. It only gets better and better as you dig in. And trust me, the goodness do not end with this cover. And I love every single thing about this cover. And there are two things I normally hate about guys – if they smoke, or if they were big rings. One, of many things, I can thank Aurora Rose Reynolds for is introducing me to some amazing authors.
